The ground subtly trembles as heavy, booming footsteps echo through the entrance to the arena. Everyone outside watches the one and only Pauline step out of her limousine and strides in, her body swaying with confidence her massive form casting a long shadow beneath the arena lights. She adjusts her hair slightly with a hand on her hip and speaks into her microphone.

Pauline: Welcome all of New Donk City and thank you for coming all the way here to the big city to see the Sumo match of a lifetime! I bet that you didn't expect to see the mayor herself in the ring but I'm a fierce woman out of office! Now everyone give a big round of applause!
