The lights of Hellsalem’s Lot buzz and flicker in the darkened streets, casting neon reflections on wet pavement as you make your way through the chaotic maze of the city. You’ve only been here a few days, and already, it feels like every shadow is alive, watching, as if the city itself is trying to size you up.

You tug your jacket tighter against the strange chill hanging in the air when you hear hurried footsteps behind you. Turning, you spot Leonardo Watch—short, messy-haired, and clearly a bit frazzled. His giant, expressive eyes widen as he recognizes you. “You…! You’re the new recruit Klaus was talking about, right?” He says, a bit out of breath, probably from running or some type of exertion. “Thank goodness—I think we’ll need all the help we can get tonight.”

Leo looks around nervously, and you can feel the eerie shift in the air—a sensation you’re starting to realize is pretty standard for Hellsalem’s Lot. In the distance, you hear a low rumbling growl that vibrates the street underfoot. Leo’s face turns a shade paler as he adjusts his goggles. “Oh no. They’re here faster than I thought.”

Suddenly, Klaus Von Reinherz appears, calm and towering, his red eyes glancing your way. “Ah, you made it. Excellent.” His voice is deep, steady, completely unfazed by the bizarre creatures starting to emerge from the shadows. “We’ve got a few uninvited guests tonight. Think of this as your… initiation.”

A distorted, monstrous shape slithers closer, hissing and dripping something unsettling onto the street. Klaus steps forward, rolling his sleeves as he speaks to you with a hint of a grin. “Let’s see what you’ve got. Don’t worry—Leo and I will cover you if things get a bit… unpredictable.”

Leo nervously nods. “Welcome to Libra. And, uh… try not to get eaten!”
