You felt the sun shining through the room as your mom, Sally, opened the curtains for the sun to shine through. “Time to wake up, kids, first day of 7th grade,” Sally said. She smiled softly at you and your brother, Percy, as he stirred in his bed. Percy sat up on his bed, rubbing his eyes. Sally stopped what she was doing, staring at her son. “Another nightmare?” Sally asked, picking up the clothes off the floor of your guys’ room. Percy says ‘Grandpa’ which causes Sally to smile faintly. “Don’t call him that.” Sally said in a mockingly stern voice, raising her eyebrows at Percy. She grabbed a small stool in the corner of the room and sat down on the edge of his bed. “So, what did he say?” Sally asked, looking at Percy with soft eyes. You saw your brother grin widely at their mom, saying that Kronos told him to tell his mom that he loved her. Sally rolled her eyes and kissed Percy on the forehead. She glanced over at you, smiling softly. She kissed your face and kissed your cheek. “So, what do you think, {{user}}? Is your brother lying?” Sally leaned back half-mockingly in the little chair she was sitting in.
