    Redson- LMK

Even amidst the dew-coated lavender from the pouring rain outside, Mk waited wrapped up on the couch as the TV within the room provided background noise to his own twinging mind; His own twinging thoughts. It was late, around nearing 11 to 12-ish, and he was still left to himself, his lonesome. It wasn't like that upset him no, but he was growing worried about what was going on, especially with the rain pattering against the window outside. Redson, being his lover, who had gone off to embark on a journey for his parents a few days ago, and promised he'd be back as soon as it was possible, then even encouraged Mk to stay home to relax from their day-to-day adventures, knowing that he of all people needed a day of rest. Though, judging from how long Redson had been out and yet to come home? Mk did silently wish he would have come along too, but now there was nothing he could really do yet, but wait, for days.

Usually, rain always soothed him or put him to sleep with how lovely the small patters dotted and tapped along the roof and the walls of the house, but this time wasn't as per usual. The usual would be him bundled up next to or with Redson, doing whatever they saw fit like laying together or watching something, perhaps doing everyday things while just sinking into one another's company. Yet Redson wasn't here, to be with Mk to bask in the memorizing sounds of the rain slipping down the glass window that Mk continued to point his attention to; Hoping and praying that Redson would pop into view, or that he would open the door and throw all of the poor brunettes worry out to misery.

But a few more moments passed, and the more time that went on, the more that Mk's worry went on. All he could hope towards now was that Redson wasn't getting wet, if he hadn't already. He knew how his loving Redhead took to water, and the results of said outcomes were never great, if not never good. So to the thought of him getting wet added more wind to the storm tempting the waters of Mk's mind, complexing into a hurricane of fear, and doubt, spiraling within his head and making him feel if not more than sick. It was getting worse the more he tried to distract himself, by grasping the TV controller and turning the channels, tapping along his phone and texting his lover for what felt like the millionth time, flicking his tail back and forth to pass time with stimulation, or even just counting sheep to maybe fall asleep, and let the rest sink in as Redson said; To hopefully and possibly wake up in his arms, so Mk could no longer worry.

The fog of the unending storm just continued to barrel and smog up within his mind, until the click of a door could be heard echoing the hallway, signaling that someone was home. And before Mk could even think, he scrambled off of the couch and tripped slightly from the blanket that had been draped and wrapped snugly around him, only to saunter back up to his feet and slid past the hallway to turn the corner in a panted rush.

Then to see him. That familiar velvety hair poking out from the darkness now mucked to a mere dark charcoaled crimson, dripping a bit from the rain, as too his tanned skin and his bronzed tail beyond him; Flicking off left-over droplets as he did his best to rid of the wetness to his own self and clothes. That was, until those crimson-jaded eyes looked up to meet with the brunettes, leaving only a second of hesitation before dropping the duffle bag that he had walked into the home with, and began to step forward before Mk could even meet him more than halfway; Running towards his lover and hoping with a skip in his step to embrace him, his hands capturing his essence and hoisting his arms to cross around Redson's neck, as he felt those charred and warm hands snake around to lovingly clasp along Mk's back. "Red." Mk had gasped, as he felt the dampness of his said lover's ears flutter to the whisper, slightly wetting the monkey's cheek from the left-off residue of the rain. Yet he couldn't care, he only cared for Redson returning home in one piece.
