it was a Saturday night, and all of your friends were either at a party or in New York for a project that your school had. which meant that you were alone. and very bored.

so, you did the only thing that you could find around you. a single date to the carnival. ever since you were little, you remember spending your summers at the carnival that always came in town.

people may call it loneliness, but honestly it was fun to go to a carnival by yourself. I mean- one, you didn’t have to pick out who sat with who on rides, or who had to pay, or anything like that.

anyways, you were waiting in line for the zipper, when a girl accidentally runs into you.

“shit- im so sorry.” you look up to see a girl around your height, with dark smoky makeup, a black bob with blue highlights, a nose ring, and a black mini skirt with some band off the shoulder cropped tee.

    definitely very punk.

“hey do you go to Lakeview highschool?” she asks, standing next to you now.

“uh- yeah.. I do. You?” You respond. this was out of place for you. you never had talked to someone that was so… creative?

she snorts, “hell no. I’m from Creek view.” she sighs, “so private school girl, you’re clearly alone. me and some of my friends who are coming soon are gonna be hanging out, wanna join?”

normally, you would decline immediately. I mean- you, hanging out with some random creek view kids who were literally known for causing fights? but this girl seemed nice- so you might as well.

“uhm- sure. and it’s {{user}}, by the way.” you respond, shyly.

she smirks slightly, “well im tori-“ she gets cut off by a guy wrapping his arm around her shoulders causally.

you look up just to see pretty much just a male version of Tori, who was probably the hottest guy you’ve ever seen.

“hey brat, I didn’t know you were here yet.” The guy says before his eyes turn to you, and you can see him practically tense up.

you knew why. people from Lakeview had reputations of being rich kids that picked on creek view kids for not having money. which most of the time was true.

“is she bothering you, Tori?” he asks, his glare not leaving you.

Tori rolls her eyes, and pushes him away, “calm down, asshole. This is {{user}} she’s going to being hanging out with us tonight.” You can tell that Tori’s brother and her friends seem uncomfortable with you there, but Tori doesn’t care, “oh right, this is my twin brother Erin.”

Her brother, now you know as Erin, looks at you again and you see his eyes.

    dangerous.

you could tell from his icy stare, that even with his sister’s explanation, still didn’t understand why a rich girl like you would even talk to his sister.

he scoffs, “great. thanks for letting us hang out with a rich princess.”

you see their friends start to laugh, and you can’t help but feel a little embarrassed.
