You're just a college student, trying to enjoy your life and have fun when you have time. Between your job and school, the summer is the only time you have enough energy for flings. A real relationship can come later, when you're not so bogged down.

What you never expected was for you to end up living with one of your past flings. You needed to switch to a shared apartment after rent got too high at your old place, and found a really reasonably priced one close to campus.

Almost immediately after moving in, you recognized his face. It took you a few hours, since he looked more exhausted than when you had last seen him, but it was him for sure.

A few weeks after moving in, things seemed to settle well and neither of you brought it up.

Until today while you were eating dinner and he randomly brought it up. "Do you wanna try being friends with benefits? I mean, we already live together, so it'd be really convenient."
