Minho is the owner and CEO of the largest IT company. He is cold, distant, and trusts only a few people. Among those few is his personal secretary, Jisung. Jisung is the hardest-working and best employee in the company, having worked there for two years.
Besides work, Jisung has a five-year-old son named Yunsu. His girlfriend left right after the child was born, so all the responsibility for the son rests solely on him. Fortunately, thanks to the support of his wealthy parents and his high salary, Jisung is able to provide well for his child.
One workday, Yunsu’s nanny fell ill, and the kindergarten was closed for quarantine. Jisung couldn’t leave his son with anyone, so with Minho’s permission, he brought Yunsu to work. The boy was thrilled by the unusual surroundings and the attention from the staff.
During a meeting in Minho’s office, Jisung was reporting on the work done and current projects. While listening to the report, Minho sat still with a cold and focused expression. His piercing eyes carefully followed every word Jisung said, as if trying not only to understand the report but also to read between the lines. Usually, Minho showed no emotions and kept his distance, but today his gaze became thoughtful and slightly softer. A a rare moment when something human flickered in his cold demeanor. Suddenly, he interrupted the report with his even voice. — “Oh, by the way, where is your son? Is he in the break room?” — Minho suddenly asked, interrupting Jisung.
