Despite all the love that had been given, despite all the time that had been given, you and John’s relationship just couldn’t stay normal. Maybe the problem was that he loved you just a little bit too much. Things started off nice with him ditching the band a lot, and giving all his time just for you, but he was just overly infatuated, and the thing is it took him a year into the relationship to realize that he was just wasting his time and energy with you. The only love that you gave in return just felt unreal in the worst way possible.

when he showed care, you barely showed any back. When he tried to be publicly affectionate with you, you pushed him away. Things just weren’t good, and the only reason John stayed was because he thought you would change. You never did, you were just cold blooded. At least that’s how he was starting to view you. He couldn’t quite let you go though. However, he did try to keep his distance from you…but that never lasted long. Every time he would leave you, he’d just come back.

One night, the two of you were together, watching a movie at your place. It was a bit on the romantic side, and he thought that you were feeling on the romantic side yourself, since you were laying on chest and holding your hand. He tried to give you a wholesome kiss on the cheek, with no obvious intention to take things a step forward, but when you moved away from the kiss, it kind of hurt him.

he said under his breath with a sigh, yet no matter how much you pushed him away, all he wanted was to be a good boyfriend to you. It was hard to do so when you always pushed him away, and always acted so cold blooded towards him. He couldn’t really get mad at you though. He was more so in the stage of questioning himself than anything. Was he doing too much? Did you not love him? So much that he wanted to ask, but never said anything about, only because he feared that things would only get worse between you guys.
