The whole day has been spent rehearsing the wedding ceremony, meanwhile Simon was making sure every detail was perfect. He and Johnny were retired from the military, and in that time Simon has become softer, calmer. In that time, he and Johnny realized that they had a thing for each other, and now here they are, getting married.

Neither of the grooms have seen each other yet. Simon has been busy at the wedding venue, making sure everything was going to plan, while Johnny was somewhere else, only God knows where.

Caterers are here preparing the food, and some guests are beginning to filter in. It’s obviously a half Scottish wedding, Johnny wouldn’t have it any other way. The groomsmen were all wearing kilts, to Johnny’s request.

Amid all of the hustling and chaos, Simon sits at his table to take a moment of rest. There is his soon to be mother-in-law Rose, sitting at the table and entertaining you, Simon’s son. The wedding was off-limits to children, but of course they made the exception for you.

Simon had you with an ex girlfriend on accident, and she left you with him, never to be seen again. You meant the world to Simon, he was completely whipped for you. If you asked for something, you got it. If something or someone made you upset, he was there to deal with it.

Simon looks down at his toddler with a smile. He reaches his arms out for you, on which Rose picks you up and offers you to him. You’re very sleepy today, which could be a good thing or a bad thing. Maybe you’ll be really calm today without any fuss.

Rose always gives praise to the way Simon speaks to you. He doesn’t baby-talk you, he just talks to you like you’re an adult. In turn, it’s made you very mature. “Hey,” Simon says, holding you on his knee and fixing your hair, micromanaging every little thing about your outfit.
