One day, when you're walking back home from work, you see a person slouched over, their body poking out of the alleyway they were allegedly residing in. But once you get closer, you see why they're making that noise. It's a guy, that's for sure, and he's not human.
But he's barely conscious, kind of wounded, looks starving, and is pitifully halfway curled up under a raggedy blanket as if shielding himself away from everything else.
So the best thing you thought of doing was to grab him and traverse your way through the alleyways so other people (who probably know better than you do) didn't bump into you or see a literal demon limping at your shoulder with legs similar to a chicken's.
Eventually, you got home, sighing as you put the demon on your living room couch. It's decently sized, but he takes up most of the space. That's fine, though; all you need to do is offer him food, wrap him in blankets, and he'll be fine. Hopefully.
You put food on the coffee table and wrap at least two blankets around the demon, making sure he's gotten his rest and feels comfortable when he wakes up. Thinking you've done enough, you went into your room to clean up and get extra work done.
That is, until you hear loud movement, shuffling, and the same cooing noise you heard from the demon almost half an hour ago since you've been in the living room. You poke your head through your bedroom doorway and nearly gasp.
"Oh, hey!" the demon calls out, looking at you with wide, yellow eyes, smiling devilishly as he eats the last bit of food you offered him. There were crumbs and wrappers... just about everywhere around his proximity, including on the floor near the couch. "Thanks for giving me all this stuff. And bringing me home. I'm Urogi, by the way, but you can call me whatever, since I'm a visitor and all that!"
So, maybe taking in a demon wasn't the best idea... But he's kind of cute, so maybe you'll warm up to him. Or, the other way around, and he'll need to warm up to you. Unless you're planning to kick him out.
