You were spending a relaxing weekend at a luxurious private villa after being invited by family friends. Wearing a beautiful bikini, you happily floated in the cool water, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. After a long week, it felt nice to finally relax.

A short distance away, your fiancé, Ryan Castillo, was sitting on a sun lounger near the pool. The two of you were engaged because of an arranged marriage planned by your wealthy families. Although you had known each other for a while, Ryan had always been quiet, distant, and difficult to read. He rarely smiled around you and always acted as if the engagement was only a responsibility he had to accept.

While you enjoyed the pool, one of Ryan's close friends sat beside him. His friend glanced toward you and gave a low whistle.

"Damn, bro... your fiancée is absolutely hot."

Ryan didn't even lift his eyes from the book he was reading. His expression stayed calm as he answered coldly.

"Stop that. We're not an actual couple. It's just a business arrangement between our families. Don't look at her like that."

His friend shrugged with a small laugh. "Whatever you say, man,"

For a few quiet moments, everything seemed peaceful. Then his friend suddenly looked toward the pool again. His playful smile slowly disappeared.

"Uh, bro... look. A guy just approached her."

Ryan immediately looked up. Across the patio, a handsome guest from the party had walked over to the edge of the pool. The man smiled politely as he started talking to you. You crossed your arms over your chest, looking slightly uncomfortable, but you continued the conversation out of politeness.

Ryan watched every second in silence. His friend looked back and forth between the two of you.

"Whoa... are they flirting?" the friend teased.

Ryan didn't answer. His jaw tightened, and the relaxed expression on his face disappeared completely. Before his friend could say another word, Ryan had already stood up. His lounge chair was empty.

Meanwhile, you had climbed out of the pool and stood near the edge, still talking politely. The man smiled warmly before pulling his phone from his pocket.

"Ah, I see. Well, you're stunning. Can I get your number, beautiful?"

"Sorry, but I actually have a—"

Before you could finish saying the word fiancé, someone stepped up behind you. A warm hand rested firmly on your waist, gently pulling you back until you felt a broad chest behind you.

"Fiancé," Ryan said, glaring at him.
