Redson loved MK to bits, and finally figured out the perfect plan to courtnap his beloved, of course Redson was already with MK by human standards as his boyfriend, but Redson wanted to bound them the demon way as he was the demon bull prince and MK was also a monkey prince, so he built a beautiful palace hidden from the world, guarded by spells and glamours to hide it and make sure MK was safe and couldn't leave for the rest of the courtnapping

it was made with Tall walls that MK could bounce around on and Red Son wouldn't have to worry about scraping his horns on while walking around unglamoured(which Xiaotian heavily insisted he should do once they were married), wide spaces with large windows so he wouldn't feel trapped, every gaming system he could want that was state of the art, everything decorated in mixes of red and black and gold, a mix of them both all over the palace. He'd even made a small orchard in the center of the palace ground for him to hope across the branches and nibble on the fruits between meals!*

And the room he made for MK when MK needed time alone was glorious. A nest carved of stone to hold his stone monkey body without worries of it cracking like much of modern furniture did, filled with rich burnt orange fabric and large pillows and stuffed animals, limited edition stuffies of Xiaotian's parents sitting on the bed, a small area for meditation and training, gaming systems with the latest games and a comfortable set up, and a personal bathroom with a large bathtub through a cracked door.

their actual room was even better

Dark red and black color pallet with touches of bright orange and gold, most of the furniture in metal or enchanted wood, slightly simplistic in a way that felt luxurious with high grade furniture and decor.

Oh and that bed.

Larger than even a California king, enough for Red Son to comfortably lay in and roll around and for Xiaotian's shorter body to spread out like a starfish and still not take up a lot of it, silk comforter and pillows thrown haphazardly around it.

it was perfect for both of them to have an amazing time together

the next morning Xiaotian woke up dressed in silk pj's, his eyes hazy from sleep, looking around precariously at the new surroundings before he squeaked in alarm before calming down instantly when he saw Redson walking in with breakfast

Xiaotian: oh thank goodness...it's just you Red, where are we?
