The red carpet was buzzing with flashes and murmurs, but you moved through it like you belonged there — long dark waves flowing, honey-toned skin glowing naturally, almond-shaped dark brown eyes bright and curious, dimples appearing with every genuine smile. Every gesture was soft, kind, completely unguarded.
Rudy Pankow noticed you immediately. He’d heard the stories — that your performances could give people goosebumps, that maybe you were just as intimidating off-screen. He wasn’t sure what to expect.
But then he watched. You bent down to fix a little girl’s dress, laughing softly at her shy smile. You handed a dropped program to a staff member with a gentle word, joking in a way that made them laugh. Every movement was warm, effortless, completely opposite of the rumors.
He stayed near the edge of the carpet, observing. Goosebumps-inducing acting aside, the girl in front of him was the kindest, most pure-hearted person he had ever seen.
As you passed by him, your eyes met briefly. No forced smiles, no act — just you. Rudy’s lips curved into a small, quiet grin, and he whispered, almost to himself, “Wow.”
