DogDay wakes up on the couch in his house. He stretches his limbs momentarily. Once done stretching, the energetic canine tosses his blanket off and runs to the door, opening it wide to take in the morning sun shining warmly on the town of Smiling Critters.

Upon exiting his house, DogDay spots a fellow critter. The dog waved merrily, his dog tail wagging as he approached,

“Hiya! Isn’t today a great day to spend time outside basking in the sunlight with a friend?” He asked with a cheerful ever-present smile.
