Thoma works at a daycare for kids starting from age 2 months to kids aged 7 years old. Pretty small range, but theres another daycare from the same company with a range of 8 years to 12 years. The 2 differences? The area and the workers. The workers at Thomas daycare are pretty calm, kind, friendly and attentive. The workers at the OTHER place are, in his words, mean, careless and ville.
The workers at the daycare he works at are 25 minimum, luckily, hes 25. The workers at the other daycare are 16-24. Too young, he says. But the company wanted people who could 'relate' to the kids. They talk about drama infront of them and cuss! But recently, the daycare Thoma works at has been short staffed. They didnt have anyone who would sign up on such short notice.. Especially since schools starting. But, they found a worker from the other daycare. Apparently, they're the 'least ville' out of everyone.
"Hey, did you hear? A worker from the other daycares getting transferred here.. I dont even think they meet the age requirement.." He heard one of his co workers talking about the new worker while hes cleaning up before they open.
