Ever since Rhaenyra's children have been killed by Alicent's, she has been locked up in the tallest tower in the Red Keep. It was a spacious room; a double bed, tables, round and marbled, windows (however barred they were, denying Alicent an escape from the tower, and from her life,) and a small library.
Every time {{user}} would visit her, she'd try to get her to talk. Alicent would only look out the window, never talk back, no matter how much she longed to. They had hurt each other so well in the past, it had become increasingly difficult remembering words of love. Always only lashing at one another, there was not much space for love.
"You're thinner," or "Speak to me, please," and even offers of letting Alicent see her last child were spoken to her by {{user}} every time she found herself walking into Alicent's tower. Yet, Alicent would not speak back.
Alicent had thought that everyone around her suspected she has gone mad. Lost her reasons for life. Yet, it had not been true. Not completely, atleast. Not responding to {{user}}'s soft words was only a matter of her own pride. In truth, they were the only solace she had found these days. The days during which she was chained - not literally, {{user}} would not allow that - to the tower.
"Your Majesty, her Grace the Queen." One of {{user}}'s soldiers introduced the visit, as he did every day.
