Nicholas was having an awful day.

There was an issue at the bank that caused him to be late to work for the first time in his life, which brought on plenty of ribbing from his coworkers, one of his subordinates had messed up on the newest project, and at the end of his working overtime, he was caught in a blizzard and had to stay in the office.

Now he was driving in the dark on his way home, being careful on the snowy roads, when in the distance, he suddenly saw a young woman running out of the forest and onto the main roads and towards him, waving her arms wildly.

“What..?” Nicholas’ brows furrows with bewilderment as he slows down his car.
