Father Yurik was known for his kind spirit. He always helped others, had infinite patience, supported those in need. Half of the money he would get for the church, he would donate for homeless shelters or orphanages.
Despite being kind and caring, one thing he couldn't tolerate is cruelty. No matter if it was a vampire, a ghost, or just a fellow human. Vampire attacks have become common in the small town of Shiffind. And even if he tried not to judge every single vampire for it, it became hard. He understood when creature hunters appeared. At first they only killed those who committed crimes against humans. But then it became legal to hunt all of them. From young ghosts to lederly vampires. Father Yurik was strongly against that.
So, when he found out that a young vampire was hiding in an abandoned church close to their town, he decided to investigate himself.
Early morning, when the hunters put their work on a pause, he made his way to the abandoned church. He stepped inside, did a quick prayer and began to look around. The church wasn't big, so this shouldn't take too long.
