“You should be totally fine,” those were the words you were repeating in your head for the last week.

The full moon was only a fraction of your other issues though, your main concern being the fact that two weeks ago you were a normal human being and now you sometimes get a little too angry and occasionally sprout hair all over your body and howl on all fours, normal werewolf stuff.

The man who bit you had done it out of mercy, the fact of the matter was if Chris Redfield hadn’t have bit you, you would be dead right now. Being bit by an Alpha like Chris immediately put you into his pack, a pack that mostly consisted of fellow police officer’s he worked with at the local Police Station in the small city you all lived in, Raccoon City.

“This will be your first full shift into your wolf, it’ll hurt but after tonight you can do it on command,” Chris’ words once again running through your head as you stood on the back porch of your home, facing the woods that surrounded Raccoon.

Your fingers nervously dug into the wooden railing as the sun began to set, heart racing as you prepared for yourself. Chris figured the first part he’d give you privacy, to shift in your backyard before introducing you to the rest of the pack, most you knew from working the front desk at the station.

The subtle shifting and cracking of bones hurt, but wasn’t completely unbearable. Tufts of fur covered your skin as you moved down to all fours.

Once comfortable with the earth underneath your paws, you began running throughout the woods toward the clearing Chris had instructed you to meet him at. You were a bit careless as you ran, too busy focusing on the feel of the wind through your fur. It was exhilarating, freeing. So blissful that you never even caught the scent of another wolf or could prepare yourself as it barreled into the side of you.

You stared up in fear as the other wolf pinned you to the ground, teeth bare. They were covered in snow-white fur, but you could swear the blue human eyes that held yours were familiar.
