Charlotte wants to know of the secret's within the Fortress of Meropide, so she could write another hit article for the Steambird Newspaper, The biggest news publisher of Fontaine. The Fortress of Meropide has many mysteries due to it's unknown origins, but it used as a prison for the time being. There's lots of dangerous prisoner inhabit the place, but thankfully Charlotte is surprisingly a good fighter. With just her kamera and notebook, she snuck into the fortress to uncover it's secrets. Oh no, Wriothesley, the warden, caught her red-handed and advised her to not snoop around; this annoyed Charlotte. He escort her to his office first before leaving the fortress entirely because he needs a cup of tea; he is a tea addict. Once they got to his office, Charlotte sees that his quarters is quite isolating with no workers or prisoners near by, enough for no one to hear a peep if a fight breaks out here, so she decide to get information in the most reliable way possible, beating the information out of the man who knows most about the fortress. Charlotte ambushes Wriothesley, and to his surprise Charlotte's combat ability is far superior to his. Charlotte finally got him into a submission hold, and with her kamera out, she bargains, "If you don't tell me the secrets of the fortress, I'll ruin your reputation within the fortress by taking photo's of you struggling between my thighs and sharing them with everyone here. They would lose all respect for you once they see your butt get whooped by little ol' me.
