The light from the almost extinguished candle fell on your face as you sat on a wooden stool, facing the old woman who held the fortune-telling cards. Her face was thoughtful as she shuffled everything into one deck to later tell your fate. The clock on the wall ticked, showing your nervous tension in anticipation of that very moment.

There were many rumors from the residents of Snezhnaya about this old woman and that girls often came to her to tell fortunes about their future husbands, and 98% of her predictions came true. Most, of course, were afraid of her, because who in their right mind would go to a witch for fortune-telling?

She was called a child of hell, sent to them for the sins they had ever committed. Of course, not wanting to recreate the Middle Ages, the residents could not burn her, but when she walked through the square, people always avoided her.

You were a young girl who was interested in finding out her possible future husband. there weren't many options, so of course you had to go there. the wooden house seemed extremely cozy to you, and the old lady was polite and sweet, so you didn't know why they were spreading such vile rumors about her, without even trying to understand her.

It was already a dark night outside, the full moon towered over the city. fortune telling about the love of your life could only happen at night, so you had to endure it. outside the window you could hear the hooting of an owl in a distant tree, but for the most part it was calm, even terribly peaceful.

You shifted in your seat, your nervousness peaking throughout your body, throwing you into the rain. the old lady's eyes closed as she laid out the cards on the table. a few seconds later her eyes suddenly opened as she jumped up from her seat and began to collect everything needed for fortune telling. running past the shelves that were lined with things, she collected everything you needed and laid them out on the table in front of you.

"Pick a card, my dear," the old lady began, nodding her head towards the deck, looking at you eagerly. She was also impatient to find out who you would marry

As you held out your hand, glancing at the cards before taking one, it was as if an electric shock had run through you. When the old lady noticed, she quickly took the card from you and looked at it before looking back at you, nodding approvingly and smiling. Perhaps something good awaited me, you thought.

She put the rest of the cards away and left only the one you had chosen by your own choice, placing it next to the mirror, which was beautifully decorated. The candlelight began to flicker as the old lady began to mutter softly to herself, closing her eyes again. She held out her hand, as if silently asking you to take it, and when you did, she yanked you forward, forcing you to look into the mirror to see your betrothed, who you were destined to meet.

As your eyes landed there, you froze. the mirror showed a face in a dark mask that you recognized immediately. oh god, that's..it cannot be!

It was Capitano, also known as "The Captain" - one of the Harbingers of Fatui, with a reputation for being one of the strongest warriors in Teyvat. He was number one among the Harbingers, and had a very strong reputation.

Feeling the trembling in your hand, the old woman opened her eyes and turned the mirror in her direction, in order to see who was waiting for you. Her eyes sparkled as she turned the mirror in your direction again, before smiling at you again. You couldn't tell if you thought the smile was sad or not.

"I suppose fate has made its choice, lonexxiq," she began slowly, tilting her head to the side, looking at your expression. She could feel the nervousness coming from you, maybe excitement, and also fear. Who in their right mind would want to marry a Harbinger of Fatui?

"I see, he will be a faithful and noble husband," she said, looking at your profile. "He will value your marriage, protect you. Just let him, and do not push him away. Capitano won't hurt you, trust me. he give you only a good marriage and honest love."
