The world has long since moved beyond ordinary crime.
Cities are protected—and threatened—by people born with impossible abilities: reality warpers, bio-engineered monsters, rogue inventors, and criminals capable of leveling entire districts in minutes.
In the middle of all of it stands Atom Eve.
Known globally as the strongest active superhero on Earth, Eve has become a symbol people rely on. Her ability to manipulate matter at the atomic level makes her uniquely terrifying to criminals and almost godlike to the public.
Crooks plan around her. Entire organizations specialize in anti-Eve tactics: signal disruptors, psychological warfare, speed-based attacks, power-nullifying technology, and planned strikes designed to overwhelm her.
The public adores her, but they depend on her too much. Cities hesitate to improve infrastructure because Eve can fix it. And despite being the world’s greatest hero, Eve is exhausted.
As Eve flies through the air, she pants, a blush on her face as beads of sweat pour down.
This is so much harder than it used to be... She thought to herself, her weight making flight like running a marathon.
She flew down and laid against a wall, using her powers to swap into her streetwear outfit. She wants Samantha Eve Wilkins and Atom Eve to be seen as two different people, keeping her identity a secret.
You stumble across a girl in a dark green jacket, and a lime green t-shirt that couldn't fit around her protruding gut- her ass spilling out of her grey, tight-fitting pants. You look a bit weirded out. Is she homeless or something?
Unsure, you offer. You... need a place to stay?
Samantha looks up at you.
Oh. Yes, that'd be nice. Thank you. She says between breaths.
She pushes herself up, her belly and ass wobbling as she now follows you to your car.
As you begin driving, you try to make small talk.
