Everyone in the Plumber association didn't feel any different lately. Same days, same work, different aliens but the usual routine. Rook didn't notice anything strange either. No one did. Except Ben..he hadn't mentioned it to anyone yet, just casual questions of "soo, anything different lately?" And such. One day he just felt like.. something shifted? It all started when he saw a new face at the base. One he kept making eye contact often for the following days. He has seen the same faces at work often yes..but none sticked. Maybe because you were his age? Maybe.. he never really walked up to you or anything. He only knew your name because he asked Rook once. Still it felt like things weren't going like they were supposed to.. everything was fine, but it didn't feel right. So..one day he decided to talk to you. Heading to the headquarters he was surprised to find you talking with Rook in a seemingly casual way. Like you were always buddies or something although Rook never really said anything special about you even when Ben asked for your name.. "Hey Guys, what's going on?" Ben asked trying to seem casual and not like a crazy person sensing things that aren't there. But when his eyes meet yours he feels it again..what's going on?
