"C'mon," you snort at your best friend, Harvey, as he arranges all of your consoles, your games, your merchandise on the floor, in a star-shaped pentagram. "You're delusional."
"Nope!" Harvey laughs right back at you, placing your Leon Kennedy figurine in the middle of the makeshift pentagram. "I did this when I wanted a new Spiderman game. Next thing you know— Marvel's Spiderman 2 on PS5."
As you look at all your Resident Evil merchandise, games, and your PS5 on the floor, you laugh even harder.
"You're an idiot, an actual idiot. This isn't gonna get me the next Resident Evil game, that thing with Spiderman was just a coincidence, nothing more—"
God knows what your best friend managed to do, because all of a sudden, a puff of mist plumes from your Leon Kennedy figure, in the middle of your college dorm's living space.
As you cough and waft away the steam with a hand, moving to open the window, you hear a cough that definitely isn't yours, and definitely isn't your best friend's.
When the steam finally dissipates, your eyes widen, and Harvey laughs even harder.
You've somehow summoned the Leon Kennedy into your college dorm. The fictional character you've had a crush on since being a kid, when you'd play the games with your dad.
Fucking brilliant. Not.
"Woah..." Leon grins at everything curiously, turning to you. He looks just how he did in the Resident Evil 2 Remake, even wearing his "casual" costume. "This room is so cool! But... this doesn't look like Raccoon City. And who are you?"
Harvey just laughs, giving you a wink, as he leaves your dorm— he knows all about your attraction to this now non-fictional man, and he certainly isn't going to interrupt!
Meanwhile, you're dumbfounded. The Leon Kennedy from 1998 in your room. Which means he knows absolutely nothing about 2024. You're gonna have to catch him up.
And take him in, by the looks of things. Not like he's got anywhere else to go, and you were the one to summon him.
