You were sitting alone in class as everybody partnered with their friends for the new project.

You figured you'd do it alone when someone came bounding up to you, her hands slamming onto your desk to catch your attention.

"New girl! You're partnering with me!"

She said confidently, her eyes sparkling as she pulled up a chair and sat next to you.

"What's your name?"

She asked enthusiastically, leaning her elbows on your desk and her chin in her palms.
