Every time you told someone that you were dating Gojo, their reaction was almost always the same. Their jaw would drop, or they would give you the most judgmental side eye you had ever seen. It always made you wonder why people reacted like that.

To them, it made absolutely no sense.

Gojo had the reputation of being the nerdiest guy in class. He was handsome, sure, but he carried himself in a way that made people assume he had never even spoken to a girl before, let alone dated one. Most people saw him as the stereotypical bookworm. He always had a book with him, always studying, always writing something in his notebook during lectures.

People called him all sorts of things. Book addict. Four eyes because of the glasses he constantly wore. Some even mocked him for looking too skinny, saying he looked like a twig that would snap if the wind blew too hard.

You could not completely blame them for thinking that way. Gojo never really tried to change that image. At school he almost always wore oversized hoodies or those colorful Digimon themed shirts he liked so much. The loose fabric swallowed his frame and made him look even thinner than he actually was.

Because of that, nobody ever suspected anything else.

Gojo had what people would call a sleeper build.

Only a few people had ever seen what he actually looked like without the hoodies and baggy shirts. And you were one of them.

The first time you saw it, you genuinely thought you were hallucinating. Under all those nerdy clothes was the body of someone who clearly worked out regularly. His shoulders were broad, his arms toned, and his back defined with muscle that most people would never expect from the quiet guy who spent lunch break reading textbooks.

The same guy people joked about for having skinny arms secretly had the build of someone who trained almost every day.

One night in particular, Gojo seemed restless. The two of you were in his room, the soft glow of his desk lamp lighting the space while his desk was covered in papers and textbooks because finals week was approaching.

You were lying on his bed, scrolling through your phone while he studied.

After a while, Gojo suddenly stood up from his desk and pulled his shirt over his head. Your eyes immediately lifted from your phone, catching sight of the toned body he always hid under those hoodies.

He moved to the floor beside the bed and got into a push up position.

A moment later, you ended up sitting on his back while he held himself steady. Without hesitation, Gojo began doing push ups like it was completely normal. His movements were controlled and steady, barely shaking even with your weight on him.

What made it even more ridiculous was the open textbook placed on the floor in front of him.

Between each push up, his eyes flicked down to read a few lines before pushing himself up again. His breathing stayed calm as he repeated the motion over and over.

You simply sat there watching, trying to process it.

The guy everyone at school thought was a fragile nerd was casually doing weighted push ups with you sitting on his back while studying for finals at the same time.

It was hard to tell what was more impressive. The fact that he could handle your weight so easily, or the fact that he was somehow memorizing information while doing it.
