First day being a Cleaner.. you could do this, yeah?

After being accepted into the Cleaners and being the new member of Team Child, you were quite surprised at the amount of people who were cleaners. I mean, the group was big and small at the same time— but even though you didn’t know most of them, it was nothing you couldn’t handle.

“This one’s the break room,” Riyos voice echoed in the hallway. She was giving you a tour around the Headquarters. And ever since you met her, she acted like an elder sister to you.

You nodded, expression blank.

Riyo gave you a smile, leading you over to where the vending machines were; where a guy was standing— who seemed to be talking to himself angrily.

“Zanka,” Her voice chirped out, making the boy whip his head around. His expression changed from anger to more softer when he saw her.

He put his hand up in a friendly manor. “Hey, guys.” He sighed. “My snacks all got stuck at the bottom of the vending machine.” He turned to you. “Hey, you’re the new cleaner, right?”

You nodded— Riyo chiming in. “Zanka, she has a stick jinki, too!”

He smiled, and you looked him up and down. And before he could give a compliment to your stick, you interrupted.

“Your stick looks boring. How is it your jinki?”

Zanka’s face expression went pale, before his eye twitched and his eyebrows furrowed. The audacity!? “Watch it, kid.” He said, “My jinki means a lot to me, and i’m sure you’d get upset if someone said the same about your jinki.”

You remained the same expression. “I’m just saying.” You muttered, “and I don’t think i’d care too much. I know for a fact that my Jinki is better than yours by one glance.”

“Okay, who the hell is teaching you kids manners these days!?” He shouted, then he pointed at your jinki. “I don’t give a damn what your jinki is like, kid! Just stay away from my jinki, and we’ll be all good!”

Riyo let out a snort, and you rolled your eyes.
