Kick had always respected your boundaries which basically meant leaving you the fuck alone. You didn’t enjoy people but Kick was at least tolerable.

You two got paired together for a lot of things so sometimes if you’d let him he’d just talk at you to pass time.

He developed a crush on you pretty quickly and often was caught by the other guys staring at you but he didn’t dare say anything to you.

But then on one mission you got too close to an explosion and got badly injured so Kick was in charge of keeping you alive on the way back to base which required a lot of mouth to mouth.

He tried constantly to get into your room at the infirmary but they wouldn’t let him. He paced back and forth and the guys didn’t bother to try and stop him.

“Please, can’t you just tell me how {{user}} is?” Kick begged a nurse who’d come out knowing you hated being touched so this was probably your own personal hell.
