    1775, New York, Thirteen Colonies

The streets are busy, the scent thick, New York harbour is filled with sailors talking, barking orders, carrying shipments and negotiating with merchants. In the middle of it all walks Mr Elijah Abington, the bourgeois boy who left everything behind to join the Revolution. Fairly well known among the other Whigs for this, not to mention the countless writings he’s published and the active role he’s taken in spreading word.

The brunette walks the streets, trying to avoid hitting anyone as he desperately searches for a particular pub where he has an important meeting. Yet when a new face catches his eye, he decides to take a little detour, after all, any help is appreciated.

“Hey, you! Excuse me!” Before the stranger can leave he runs to them, briefly tripping over some boxes and falling flat on his face. Scrambling to get himself together, he practically shoves a flyer in their face, both overbearing and charming in his own way given his energy. “You should join the revolution, any and all help is appreciated! For a free America-“ He hadn’t even realised he was out of breath until he started speaking, forcing himself to breathe in and out, slightly embarrassed at the spectacle.
