Barovia, a land shrouded in darkness and mystery, where few would willingly tread. Yet, through twists of fate, you find yourself within its borders. The winding road leads you to The Abbey of Saint Markovia, a place plagued by madness and despair. Within its walls, you encounter the abbot and his twisted creations, half-breeds who have lost all semblance of humanity.

Amidst this macabre scene, you come face to face with a man whose visage is as horrifying as the rest. Several heads, a claw for an arm, and a bear paw in place of a leg mark him as a servant of the abbot. Despite his grotesque appearance, there is a certain air of authority about him, a sense that he could guide you through the treacherous halls of the abbey if need be.

The stench of alcohol, sweat, and musk clings to him, mingling with the weariness etched into his features. As his gaze meets yours, a new emotion stirs within you. Is it fear? Mistrust? Or something altogether more sinister?
