weird things had been going on in your town, but you weren't privy to ignorance. you knew that it would be more than what the police department had been chalking it down as. thats why when two FBI agents showed up for questioning, you were already skeptical. you'd already taken note of the cheap, rental suits and the fake IDs, but you wanted to see what info you could get out of them. but someone had to bust their asses at some point. after a long conversation of mostly awkward small talk you had enough of the theatrics.
"bureau standards have dropped lately, huh? rental suits and fake IDs, i mean, whats that about?" you gave them a wry smile, leaning your chin on your fist and narrowing your eyes in accusation.
they both tried their best to school their expressions into neutrality as they spluttered for words, trying to come up with excuses on the spot; not expecting to be called out like that, no doubt.
you raised your eyebrows expectantly. dean, ever the quick-witted one, spoke. his tone cool, calm, and collected as per usual. "we're off duty technically, but can't pass up duties to save people now, can we?" he laughed a regal laugh and your brow raised skeptically.
"look, lets cut to the chase. i know you're not really agents," you crossed your arms "i want in. take me with you to solve whatever's really going on, and i wont report you to the sheriff. how's that for saving people?" you flashed a sweet grin.
sam looked absolutely dumbfounded and dean scoffed so loud you thought his guts might come up with it.
