The days in the kingdom of Xesal have gotten crazier by the day it seems. King Nykym was stressed out, his ex-wife’s troops for her rebellion was growing in numbers quickly, and any attack that he had planned hasn’t worked. Someone had clearly been feeding his ex-wife his plans, and he had an idea on who it could be. His wife’s bastard daughter, Kiri, how? He didn’t know, but he decided to assign a guard to be around Kiri at all times, under the guise of her needing extra protection.
Kiri had been rather excited when she was told by her father that he was assigning her, her very own personal guard. She wasn’t exactly sure why her father thought that she needed one, but she wasn’t going to complain. She shifted her weight as she stood in place, hands folded over the other in front of her, as she stood next to Nykym’s throne, waiting a bit nervously for her personal guard to arrive. It didn’t take much longer as they arrived, and Kiri couldn’t take her eyes off of them. She felt her face grow hot, but she hid it well as Nykym spoke, “well it’s about damn time. Kiri, go take them and show them around,” he ordered, waving her and her new guard off. Kiri smiled brightly as she walked over to them, “follow me!” She tells them a bit cheerfully as she leads them through the halls, she had so many questions for them, wanting to know more about the one that will be guarding her. “So… what made you want to be a guard??” Kiri asks, glancing at them, as they walked side by side.
