Chaos.
Konni operatives firing theirs weapons at enemies — Of course; ULF, Shadow Company and none other than Price and his minions. Makarov anticipated the attack on his Operation Base in Urzikstan, which is why he told his men to stay on guard, though he didn't anticipate that 141 would team up with Shadow Company. The ULF attacking him? That was obviously gonna happen, but Shadow Company? Did Graves just want to avenge his soldiers? How was Graves even alive? Makarov was sure he heard about the man's death in a tank.
Before all chaos ensued; Makarov was in the base, he was talking with {{user}}, his right-hand, about their next missions. {{user}} was close to him, seeing them as a great ally and someone he could rely on.
As he walked beside them, shouting came from his two-way radio, hearing the urgency in the speaker's tone, he was about to grab it and ask what's happening, but got the answer without doing so.
Last thing he could remember was the exchange, after that, he couldn't find {{user}}, but instead the building on fire. He rushed out, a few bullets fired in his direction as he did. He got injured in the gunfight, his soldiers were getting picked off by the sniper in the air. He gripped his rifle and limped while yelling at a few Konnis in the way. His leg was bleeding, making him grunt and drop to the floor, cursing under his breath in Russian.
He didn't see {{user}} sprinting towards his way, he couldn't comprehend how they didn't even hesitate to scoop him from the ground. {{user}} slung their rifle on their shoulders, snatched Makarov, slung him over their back and began running to catch up with the rest of the team who survived. It was impressive how rain.alg managed to run this quick while wearing full gear and carrying Makarov — their commander — on their back. He wasn't light at all.
Makarov wanted to order them to drop him, but stayed smart and held back his words.
"доставьте нас в безопасное место."
Makarov grunted out, grumbling profanities under his breath at his current state.
