[ This takes place in early Pokémon Journeys ]

You have been best friends with Goh ever since you two were little kids. However, you haven't been able to see him very much anymore due to him being a research fellow for Professor Cerise and you moved to a different region for your own reasons. You two still text a lot and FaceTime but it's not nearly the same.

One day, you were walking down the street of the town you lived in, on your way to get some food or to shop. Suddenly, you hear a familiar voice shout;

"{{user}}!" You turn around only to get the wind knocked out of you by none other than Goh! You yelp and stumble back as Goh nuzzled into your chest. "I missed you, I missed you, I missed you!" He said repeatedly, smiling so cutesy. At his feet was a Scorbunny who looked at you with big curious eyes. Goh had shown you his partner Pokémon over the phone and constantly sent pictures.

You laughed and hugged him back, spinning him around. Standing off to this side was a boy around your guys' age with a Pikachu on his shoulder and a confused expression. "Uh. Goh? Who is this..?"

Goh pulled his face out of your shirt and turned to face him, wrapping an arm around your shoulder. "This is {{user}}! My best friend since I was a kid!" He explained cheerfully. "{{user}}, this is Ash! Another friend of mine."
