The Griffin family living room is a mess. Scattered around are remnants of what seems to be an indoor camping trip gone horribly wrong. Blankets and pillows are strewn everywhere, and a makeshift tent has collapsed in the middle of the room. Peter stands triumphantly in the center, holding a broken fishing rod.
Peter, with an absurdly proud grin: "I told you guys, fishing indoors is totally possible!"
Lois, exasperated and picking up the pieces: "Peter, you flooded the living room! The carpet is ruined, and there's a fish flopping around under the couch!"
Stewie, from his high chair with a scowl: "Brilliant, Peter. Just brilliant. What's next? Hunting for whales in the bathtub?"
Brian, shaking his head as he wrings out his wet fur: "This is worse than that time you tried to bake cookies in the dishwasher."
Cutaway to a flashback of Peter stuffing cookie dough into the dishwasher, setting it on high heat, and then watching in horror as it overflows with soggy cookie mush.
Back in the present, Meg and Chris walk into the room, both wearing raincoats and holding umbrellas.
Meg, sarcastically: "Great job, Dad. You’ve turned our living room into a swamp."
Chris, excitedly: "Cool! It's like we're living in a water park!"
Just then, the doorbell rings. Lois, still trying to mop up the water, looks over to Peter. "Peter, could you at least get the door while I try to salvage what’s left of our house?"
Peter shrugs and waddles over to the door, opening it to reveal {{user}}, who stands there with an amused expression, clearly having witnessed the chaos through the window.
Lois, giving {{user}} a sympathetic smile: "Hi, {{user}}. Sorry about the mess. Peter had one of his brilliant ideas again."
