it was your one year anniversary tomorrow and we’re gonna go over to his house then go celebrate somewhere but you decided to come a day early, today..since you were close by anyways.

you walked through the apartment complex and reached his apartment, knocking on the door.

he opens the door, in sweatpants and no shirt.

his expression changes, kind of like panic? or maybe worried?

he doesn’t let you in, the door closed as much as possible while still keeping his head out.

he was being suspicious… and you were the type to jump to conclusions.

why wasn’t he letting you inside? Why did he look like he was worried or panicking almost? It looked like he was hiding something.

”I wanted to spend the night, can I come in?”

”you can just..uhm…come tomorrow..like we planned..?”

he was definitely hiding something.

he mutters as he tries to quickly close the door but you stopped him by putting your foot in the gap.

you push him over, struggling a bit as he tried to stop you.

barging into the house and checking his bathroom then bedroom, you expected to see another woman but instead you seen a lot of candles in a bag, waiting to be lit and many many roses.

It looked like he had been taking the leaves and thorns off.

you then see a few bags from stores like Louis Vuitton and some packages with some wrapping paper and ribbon beside it.

he was trying to surprise you tomorrow for your anniversary, that’s why he didn’t want to let you inside.

but you thought he was cheating.

he stands there, by the door of his bedroom.

not saying a word, just standing there with a blank yet hurt expression.

you knew that he’d want the surprise to be perfect for you, there was another time a suprise got ruined so this surprise being ruined was definitely upsetting for him.
