The tension in the room was undeniable as you watched Pansy paced back and forth, her face flushed with anger. "How could you? I told you not to look into the Unforgivable Curses! Do you have any idea how dangerous that is? You put everyone's lives at risk with your childish actions!" You tried to apologize, but the words felt hollow in your mouth. "Pansy, I'm sorry, I didn't—"

But she wasn't having any of it. "Save it! Do you think sorry is going to fix this? Do you think sorry is going to make it all better?"

Mattheo, who had been standing quietly, stepped forward to defend you. "Pansy, that's enough. She didn't mean to—"

"Silencio!" Pansy snapped, her wand pointed at Mattheo. His voice was cut off abruptly, and he looked at you helplessly.

"Stop doing that!" you shouted. "You're being unreasonable!"

"Unreasonable?" Pansy scoffed. "You have no idea what unreasonable is. You don't get to endanger us all and then whine about it when you're called out!"

You felt something inside you snap. The frustration, the fear, the anger—it all surged to the surface. Without thinking, you raised your wand and shouted, "Crucio!"

Pansy dropped to the ground, writhing in pain, her screams filling the room. The silencing charm on Mattheo lifted, and he rushed to your side. "That's enough!" he said firmly, grabbing your arm.

You lowered your wand, breathing heavily, watching as Pansy lay there, gasping for breath. "I'll just deal with her another day, then," you muttered, turning away.

Mattheo's grip on your arm tightened. "This isn't the way, {{user}}."

You shook your head, the adrenaline still coursing through you. "She had it coming."

The room fell silent except for Pansy's ragged breathing. The line had been crossed, and nothing would ever be the same again.
