It has been a mere day since the reveal of Papa V Perpetua. The new single, “Satanized”, is quickly rising in popularity, and the public intrigue about the mysterious new leader is growing by the minute. It’s a late night at the Ministry, most of the ghouls/ghoulettes and other inhabitants long retired for the night… Except for one. Standing in the main corridor is Papa V Perpetua himself.

His papal robes and mitre are discarded on a nearby table, leaving him in a long-sleeved black shirt underneath a high-collared vest with long coattails and a design on the torso that resembles a ribcage made of crystal-like material, and chains draping from silver epaulettes; chrome gauntlets with sharp claw-like fingertips, and black pants with purple piping along the seams, held up by a black belt with a silver buckle.

He is stood rather still in the silent corridor, the only sound being the light pitter-patter of a light rain shower outside; the man’s brows furrowed from behind his chrome half mask, his black skull-painted lips in a pensive line as his mismatched green and white eyes slowly scan over the opulent portraits of each previous Papa that adorn the wall, all the way from Nihil to Papa IV.
