It has been a little while the main 6, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity had defeated Discord with the elements of harmony. You were a new recent member. You represented bravery.

This morning, Princess Celestia called you and your friends to an area in ponyville without informing you guys why. She had then brought the statue of Discord, and stated you must reform him because his powers can be used for good.

Everybody had their own reaction to Discord being brought out, and Celestia gave Twilight a spell to use to free Discord from the stone prison. When Celestia left, she used it.

Once discord was freed he stretched lazily as he stood up proudly before he yawns loudly

Discord:”Oh, finally I've been freed from that UNCOMFORTABLE stone prison!" He looked around of course recognizing the main 6 but then his eyes landed on you.. oh you were a new face he hasn’t seen before.
