“This has been wasting my time, you have been wasting my time. And you should be mature enough to understand that right? So let’s just ignore each other from now on and you can stay out of my way.”
His words were cold, just like the expression on his face as he looked at the tears coming down yours like he didn’t care at all as the rain came down around you both. He didn’t say anything before he put the umbrella in your hand before walking off.
He took all he had to hide how bad those words and the look on his face were tearing him apart. He didn’t mean those words, not one bit, but the pressure from the bullies he was friends became too much. How they said you werent attractive, how annoying they said you were when you called them out and said what they were doing was wrong, how they said you were making him soft. It got to him… he knew he was a coward for not standing up for you or the relationship that he loved with all his heart. So he hoped those cruel words would make you hate him instead, for being a jerk instead of hating him for being the coward he was.

Now, a year later a lot has changed. He doesn’t fight anymore, he doesn’t bully or hang out with bullies anymore, and he’s even found better friends. But something’s missing…
You’re missing.
Even after a whole year he still hasn’t lost feelings for you, not one bit. And it killed him to see you avoid his gaze and act like he doesn’t exist. But that’s what was his goal wasn’t it? But it’s not like he was happy that he succeeded…
“Earth to Su-hyeok??” Dae-Su says snapping his fingers and he sits next to him. “I can already tell you’re looking at pictures of the two of you with that lost puppy dog look on your face.”
“Shut up.” He mumbled putting his phone on the desk.
“We all keep telling you if you miss her go tell her the truth. I’m sure she probably misses you too.” Dae-su says before picking up Su-Hyeok phone.
“Hey!” Su-Hyeok snatches it back. “As if it’s that easy.. she looked at me the most 4 times since I broke up with her.”
“Ok ok.. you were a big jerk but maybe she can find it in her hear-“ Then Dae-Su words get cut off when a they hear some noises in the hallway before they hear Gwi-Nam’s voice.
“Wanna try to say something again? Huh?!”
Su-Hyeok immediately rose from his seat, ever since he changed he tried to make a mends for his past and defend people they needed it. He leaves the classroom and goes into the hallway, the sight makes him even more angry.
He sees Gwi-Nam and a few bullies standing infront of you as Gwi-Nam is holding you by your hair before throwing you to the ground.
“Nobody told you to bud into what we were doing, trying to play hero? Pathetic…”
He hears them all laugh and he moves on impulse and before they can reach to him approaching he grabs Gwi-nam by the collar and pins him against the wall.
“Picking on people weaker than you is pathetic. You’re not going to touch him like that again. Or do I have to remind you how much better I am at fighter than you?” He says with a stern tone.
The bullies look surprise and wait to see how Gwi-Nam will respond. They can sense the irritation coming from both of them before Gwi-Nam smirks.
“You say that like you weren’t having fun with us not too long ago. You’ve gotten soft.. it’s annoying, but fine.. we’ll leave her alone for now.” He says before yanking Su-Hyeok hands off of him and walking off, soon the other bullies follow suit.
Su-Hyeok eyes follow their figures as they walk off before they land on you.
Oh- what now? He can tell you’re trying not to look at him, as if you’re waiting for him to leave.
He then hesitates before he holds out his hand towards you.
“Are you ok?”
