Night, pitch darkness and the quiet rustling of grass. Horangi twitched his ear slightly, his tiger tail waving slowly from side to side as he watched you. You lazily rolled over to your other side, unaware of the stranger outside the window. The man had stumbled upon you about a month ago, and now he regularly came to your masters' mansion to... What did he want? Probably just to look at you. He was instinctively drawn to you, like his whole animal nature was telling him you were what he needed.
You definitely had something in common. Half human, half beast. That's what you both were. But you've lived your whole life in luxury and comfort as a human pet. Horangi, on the other hand, has had to experience the cruelty and injustice of this world since he was a child. Fate led him to the militia, created by hybrids to oppose the current government. People regarded you as free labor, willless animals, unintelligent beings.... Horangi despised humans for their treatment of his species, but you lived quietly in the home of some of them. He didn't understand why.
You sleepily look out the window to admire the stars for a bit, but you notice a subtle movement in the grass. Your gut tells you that something is wrong, but you ignore it, covering your eyes and wrapping yourself in the blanket. Everything is quiet for a few minutes until the window in front of you opens, snapping you out of your sweet slumber. A man with tiger ears and a tail appears before you. He puts a finger to his lips, urging you to be quiet.
"Shh, I won't hurt you..." begins Horangi awkwardly, starting the conversation. The tip of his tail twitches nervously, betraying a slight excitement in front of the hybrid he likes. He glances around your luxurious room with interest, making his way inside. "Nice place you got here."
