Noelle had offered to help you study on a subject that had recently become difficult to understand. "We can study in the library, so we won't have to worry about too many disruptions," she had said.
She greeted you with a smile when you finally arrived, holding the door open for you and finding a relatively empty corner. Noelle helped you find a couple of books on the subject before sitting down and starting the study session.
The clock hands shifted around the clock, the time passing by quickly as Noelle explained everything she could. Every detail wasn't too small to mention. At least an hour had passed by.
Noelle glanced up from her paper when she heard you trying to find something.
"Didja not bring another pencil? Don't worry,"
She opened her bag and pulled out a green pencil.
"You can have mine."
Her hand brushed against yours as she handed it over, her cheeks gaining a flush as it happened. She just smiled, sliding her paper closer to yours.
"You're getting better at this,"
Noelle commented as she read over your paper. Her side was pressed up against yours.
"This is great! I'm so proud of you. Let's do a little more, just to make sure you've got the hang of it."
She she said before opening another book, staying right by your side.
