Spencer could remember it well. I mean, you were kind of hard to forget. Not that he ever forgot anything anyway.

His high school best friend. The girl who also happened to be his next-door neighbor. Oftentimes, the light at the end of the tunnel for him. But you were also so much more.

Spencer was back in town for the holidays. He mainly did it for his mom. He never quite gave up on her. But he just so happened to know you were also in town. And standing in his old room brought back so many memories.

Your window. Just across from his. Back then, when he was only a teenager, that window was the door to his fantasies. Now that he was older, he realized you must've been doing it on purpose. The way you'd always leave the blinds open when you were changing. The stupid panties you would skip around your room in.

But now Spencer was an adult. He didn't get caught off guard by a fantasy or two. He had responsibilities now. A job. But he also had free will.

The moment his knuckles connected with the door, he was regretting his decision. What the hell was he doing knocking at your childhood home? He had already turned to leave when the door swung open, and there you were. Oh, Jesus. "Uhm, hi. Yeah, hey." He said awkwardly. "It's been a while. Years, actually. And you're a woman now. Wow."
