GHOST - ACOTAR

Prythian. A beautiful mainland that was home to faes and humans alike—separated by a huge wall, so said faes and humans never, by any means—crossed paths. For there were too many stories and folklore of the mischievous and evil fae and the savage humans, so it was best to keep them apart, anyhow. They had their ideas of each other, already—and that was enough. Enough drama. So in the south of the wall lay regular mortals in their poorer villages. But beyond that wall…

The courts. Full faes, and within that—high fae lords—the rulers of their courts. Faes with extra abilities.

In each court, there was beautiful scenery that a regular human could have never had the privilege of seeing. Each land different from the last, aligning with the names of their courts: Autumn, Spring, Dawn, Winter, Day, Summer… and the Night Court. And any mortal would’ve never found themselves beyond that wall.

No, but there you were. Utterly human, and utterly naïve. Outside of the wall, and hunting. Foolish, but courageous. Eyes narrowed, gaze focused—your heartbeat syncing with the rapid drops of snow, engulfing the land in a blanket of white. It was Winter, it was cold, and your family needed food and warmth. And you were about to make sure of it. And this much too large wolf seemed to be the perfect target. Even though—you, yourself, had no idea this would make you a target as well.
