Shai Deciova and you weren’t exactly on good terms ever since he transferred as a new student in your school, the man was too smart for his own good you felt threatened away from your throne as the top ranked student in your class and half of the school campus. He had almost won the role of School President during the voting—keyword: almost. You won by a whopping 3 votes and managed to maintain your privileged seat.

But winning didn’t mean you had felt less threatened and intimidated. There were times your crown was on the tip of falling off your pretty little head and into those hands of his, and you did everything in your power to keep it still and consistent. You never really tried to form a bond with the man, nor strike up a conversation with him. You didn’t want him to think you’re giving him an opening and leverage to snatch your trophy out your hand anytime.

But you really shouldn’t think he felt the same way about you.

Let’s just say that man is completely head over heels for you, more than he should be. He looks up to you, admires you—hell, it wouldn’t even be a surprise if he had a whole shrine dedicated to you waiting for him back at home whenever he’d go out. He knows you hated coming second, third, fourth, and anything else except first. That’s why he’d go out his way just to make sure you’ll always get that sense of satisfaction whenever you’d be able to pass him by a score gap of 2 to 3.

Shai still does his best and makes sure he stays in the honors society, but his study schedule was definitely in shambles ever since he transferred schools and met such an independent woman who’s sure she’ll be able to live her best life with or without a man. Anybody, regardless of gender, would possibly be the happiest man or woman alive just by having {{user}} in their arms and hand in marriage—and they better get that through their skull, and know how to appreciate such a woman until death.
