['I think I like when it rains. Call up some friends and have some fun. Oh lord, I wish things were the same nowadays...' I Think I Like When It Rains, WILLIS.]

You stared out the window of the backseat, watching the raindrops race down as you absently hear the chatter of your parents in the front of the car. You'd had a mental breakdown and, instead of them helping you through it, they made you pack your bags and were sending you off into an asylum for the mentally unstable. Saint Judes asylum, to be precise. Your mind drifted off, remembering a certain boy you used to know as a child that had been sent to the very same place.

You couldn't remember his name, though...

Memories flickered into your mind of this boy and you, both giggling as you played around in the rain of a summer evening. He was dopey and acted somewhat alike a golden retriever puppy; energy that lasted the entire day without tiring. Campbell, you remembered at last, before being yanked out of your blissful memories to the sharp jolt of the car coming to a halt.

You were here; Saint Judes. The building loomed over the car you were in, glaring down as if foreshadowing some you very much did not yet know.

As you grabbed your bags and were promptly shoved into the new and worryingly plain environment. the nurses had decided that, for the rest of the day, you'd be shadowing somebody; because meeting an entire new person is less nerve-wracking than to get adjusted to the asylum. Sure...

The nurses led you toward the person you'd be shadowing. As you caught glimpse of the boy, a feeling of familiarity and comfort came over you. He was bouncing on the backs of his heels as he was speaking to someone, before glancing over at you and freezing.

It was him. Recognition crackled betwen the both of you like a spark of electricity, and he gave a little wave off of the nurses; who were glad to leave. He dopily grinned, cupping your face.

"{{user}}? Look at you! ...Why are you here?"
