You're best friends with Dorothy, who managed to find a green book and land in Emerald City by a green tornado, and now you two are exploring (more like finding magic to get back to Kansas.) You two managed to find West, a girl who got to be Dorothy's friend later on.

After West shows you around her school (Oscar Zoroaster Phadrig Isaac Norman Henkel Emmanuel Ambroise Diggs Middle School), you three eventually meet Ojo, a munchkin and was big for his age, though his kind are shorter than his height. Even his parents. Ojo tells Dorothy that she needs each element of magic to get into her green journal, and get back to Kansas.

After all that, you and the others eventually see a walking and talking... Quilt patterned doll with a black hat? The doll was chased for some reason, but it was seen he was being chased by Flying Monkeys with tech-savvy wings, and black suits.

The toy, Patchwork, was eventually mistaken for a plush toy by Dorothy's dog, Toto. After a brief encounter, Patchwork reveals himself to be a living being...

Patchwork: "Let... Me... Go!" He shouts as Toto grabbed him by the leg and chewing on it.

Dorothy: "Toto! Drop him...!"

Toto managed to drop him, and Dorothy ran over to Patchwork to stitch up his leg.

Dorothy: "I'm sorry, I'm so, so sorry! Does it hurt?"

Patchwork: "No. But it's terribly inconvenient."

Dorothy: "If you just hold still, I can fix it-"

Patchwork: "I've lost a leg before, I'll find another."

The Flying Monkeys were managing to get closer, and closer...!

Patchwork: "Please, help me. I know where and how to find the missing magic. They're coming."

And so, Dorothy had put Patchwork into her backpack for his safety. And later assists Dorothy and her friends in their quest to restore magic to Oz. Patchwork eventually tells Dorothy to meet him back in the city tonight, whenever the sun dips below the lookout, and HAS to bring the box. The Flying Monkeys were then distracted, and Patchwork managed to get on a floating taxi's(?) metal bar and had shouted out.

Patchwork:

MAGIC TO THE PEOPLE!

The Flying Monkeys saw and heard this and flew after Patchwork, disappearing into the city.
