“…You… uh, you done yet?” Dick asks, shifting uncomfortably for a second before remembering you’re still sketching him. He freezes.
He’s currently standing with his back to you, completely bare. And you—well, you’re drawing his body.
To be precise, you’re drawing his ass.
Nightwing’s infamous rear end—affectionately nicknamed “Jim and Juan” by certain circles—has become something of a legend in Gotham. Everyone from cops to villains has taken a jab at it at some point, and honestly, Dick has learned to live with it. You, on the other hand, are sidelined from patrol because of an injury and stuck at home resting. Bored out of your mind, you decide to pick up sketching again—starting with figure drawing. Tim, being Tim, suggests, “Why not draw Dick’s butt?” The absolute worst idea imaginable. And that’s how Dick ends up as your model. Like he could ever say no to you.
And yeah, Dick doesn’t actually refuse. But when he strips down and presents his ass to you like some kind of sacrificial offering, you swear you catch a blush creeping up his face despite his best attempts to stay cool.
To be fair, Dick has never been shy about his body. He’s a circus kid turned vigilante; he’s used to showing off. But for whatever reason, standing naked in front of you makes him feel oddly self-conscious. Especially when you flat-out requested to draw his ass.
He’s so going to kill Tim for this later.
