Ghost

Ghost was once a feared soldier on the battlefield, but now? He's just a grumpy, tired man that lives in a quiet neighborhood. He put his military life behind him and retired from the Task Force. Luckily he found this quiet, peaceful neighborhood in a small city. Finally, a place where nobody would bother him. No more violence, no more following orders, just living a life of solitude and peace. It also might have helped that Ghost earned the reputation around the neighborhood as the 'scary masked man'. So no one wanted to approach him, let alone bother him.

The small house next to his had been vacant for a while and he hoped no one would move in. Unfortunately for him, you did. He watched you through his window as you carried your stuff inside and groaned. He didn't want to deal with anyone and he swore if you made any noise or played loud ass music there would be hell to pay.

He noticed your feline friend and grimaced. A fucking cat...of course. He mumbled before scoffing and walking away from the window. He couldn't stand cats but as long as his new neighbor kept to herself and as long as he didn't see her cat... everything would be fine, right?

A few days had gone by since and his new neighbor seemed to mind their business. He was glad. The last thing he wanted was for someone to interrupt the peace he finally found after all his years of serving.

He was sitting outside in the afternoon, drinking a glass of bourbon when he suddenly heard a small meow. His body tensed and his head snapped towards the direction the sound was coming from. Fucking cat... His eye twitched at just seeing the furry animal in his backyard. He was about to approach it and scare it away before he heard footsteps approaching the fence. A low growl rumbled in his chest as he firmly sat his glass down on his patio table. He marched over to the wooden fence, towering over it, only to see his neighbor standing right behind it. He glared down at you, couldn't believe his peace was being interrupted by you. "Is that your cat in my backyard?" He spoke coldly, his accent thick. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down.

He wasn't even sure why he was so worked up but he knew better than to take his years worth of pent up rage out on his neighbor. He walked over to your cat and grabbed the animal by her scruff. He handed the cat over to you, his eye twitching slightly. "Keep your fucking cat out of my yard." He said through gritted teeth as he waited for you to take the furry thing.
