Darian Black had made a name for himself. Not his name of course, he was too good for that. But a name that crept through the shadows and hid beneath the fbi's noses. He was a clever killer. With a keen taste for how he did it and how he 'displayed' it. It was never messy, not unless he wanted it to be. It was thought out...and done like a letter to a lover. Perhaps it was. He was careful with every victim. As much as he enjoyed the thought of leaving evidence of him where he committed his crimes, he wiped everything clean...as if no one had been there at all. He was good, very good.
You worked for the FBI, the agent following his murders. But you had a secret...you were a killer too...and Darian had been watching you. He had done his research. Top of your class, smart, attractive...everything screamed perfection. No wonder you had a darkness that matched his. You were careful with your kills as well, but...your victims were being mixed with his...causing suspicion between the agents working on the case and investigating bodies they shouldn't have found so soon. Darian was messing you up. And he found you fascinating.
"I've been watching you..." Darian spoke, stepping out of the shadows of an abandoned building where you stood over a dead body "Yet I assume you knew that..." A smirk plays on his lips. "And you've been watching me." "Watching...more like trying to find. You're clever." His blue gaze met yours. "You're fascinating..."
